I write personal essays about girlhood, friendship, identity, and family.
My writing career started at Bridgewater State University, where I took creative writing classes and worked as an editor on Volume 6 of The Bridge. I spent 10 years working at GrubStreet, a nonprofit creative writing center, where I’m also a graduate of the Essay Incubator program. I belong to two writing groups: the Draft Dodgers and the Roof Writers. Originally from the south coast of Massachusetts, I currently live in Providence, RI. When I’m not reading, writing, or staring at spreadsheets for work, I can be found drinking copious amounts of coffee, walking up & down the many hills of my city, and singing love songs to my cats.
